The Librarian of the Year Award is presented to an SCC/MLA member for outstanding contributions in health sciences librarianship. The purpose of the award is to celebrate expertise and creativity in the provision of library service. This award is intended to be an annual award, but will be presented only when merited. A plaque and paid SCC/MLA annual meeting registration (excluding CE) will be awarded to the recipient.
Criteria used to determine the recipients of the award include but are not limited to:
The nominees' achievements in the areas described above must have occurred within the last 2-3 years, culminating within the last 12 months.
