HCS Robert J. Bartlett Travel Award
The SCC/MLA Hospital and Clinical Section (HCS) Robert J. Bartlett Travel Award provides two upfront $500 travel awards to SCC/MLA HCS members to help defer the cost of attending the annual SCC/MLA meeting.
Bob Bartlett passed away in 2018 as HCS Secretary. Bob was a longtime member of SCC and the HCS. He served the chapter in many roles, but he gave much of his time and efforts to the HCS, including serving as section secretary in the year prior to his passing. Bob, who was originally from New York, loved to travel. His last journey took him to Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand. The HCS Board thought it was only fitting to create a professional travel award in his honor for HCS members.
