Connect with over 200 information professionals in the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association at the Annual Meeting in Galveston, Texas.

All conference activities will take place in the San Luis Resort. Exhibit day will be Monday, October 24, from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Take the opportunity to highlight your product or service by exhibiting and sponsoring events. Build your brand recognition with potential customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Exhibitor Information

  • Exhibitor fee is $700 for each 10'x10' booth. (Note: Effective 5 pm, September 2, 2016, the booth fee increases to $800 per booth.) Multiple booth spaces may be purchased, if space is available.
  • Conference hotel is the San Luis Resort & Conference Center.  Go to the link above, click "Book Now" and use promo code UTJ20A (UTJ2 Zero A) for discount rate of $150 king room, $149 two beds.  Overflow hotel is Holiday Inn Resort Galveston - On the Beach next door (if reserving online, be careful NOT to do an advance purchase which is not refundable.)
  • You may ship your exhibit materials to the hotel for arrival three days in advance, or for Thursday 10/20/16. 
  • Shipping address is:  San Luis Resort, c/o Lisa Clemens (Hold for:  Your Name / SCCMLA, 5222 Seawall Blvd., Galveston TX 77551
  • Fly into Hobby Airport on the south side of Houston, 41 miles from the hotel.  Rental cars and shuttles available.
  • Electricity (regular 110-volt outlet) may be purchased for $25 per booth.  Contact Lisa Clemons at San Luis, lclemons@ldry.com, (409) 740-8686; the following form is also provided for your convenience:
  • Exhibit booth in San Luis ballroom will include 3' high draped sides, 8' high draped back, one 6' skirted table, 2 folding chairs, and 7"x44" vendor ID booth sign.
  • Exhibitors will receive up to two (2) free tickets to the Welcome Reception (one if there is only one rep). Additional tickets to the reception, as well as tickets to other events, may be purchased.
  • There will be free Wi-Fi in the Exhibit Hall.
  • Exhibit setup will be available as follows:
    • Sunday, October 23: 3-7 p.m.
    • Monday, October 24: 5 – 8 a.m.
  • Exhibit Hall will open at 8 a.m. There will be a coffee break at 10 a.m.
  • Posters will be held in the Exhibit Hall.
  • Exhibit Hall will be closed for lunch from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
  • The afternoon break & door prize drawings with the exhibitors will be held in the Exhibit Hall from 3 3:30 p.m.  Suggested prizes include gift cards, small electronics or your company merchandise, etc. 
  • Exhibitor tear-down will be from 4 6 p.m.
  • Refunds will be made by check, minus a $40 processing fee, when written cancellations are received on or before 9/26/2016 to Becky McKay Johnson, local arrangements co-chair and exhibits registration, remjohns@utmb.edu.  No refunds thereafter.
